Copywriting for telecoms

When my business was in its first year (2001), I attended a breakfast meeting where I met a photographer. He referred me to an accountant who wanted copy for his newsletter. The accountant referred me to a mobile telecoms business. I wrote their web copy and newsletters for years. They referred me to another telecoms business…and so it goes on.

Perhaps one of the reasons why so many telecoms companies have asked me to help with their copywriting is because I traded under the brand name of Comms Plus (I chose it to mean written and spoken communications; everyone else thought it meant telecoms). I’ve also trained more than one telecoms business to enhance their blogging and social media skills.
