Copywriting for HR & training

When I was in the corporate world, writing copy for the HR and training department was one of my favourite jobs, because the people were always so lovely to work with. For example, I wrote Service Level Agreements, Policy & Procedure manuals, and induction presentations. I even starred in an HR video! (Well, the back of me did. I was filmed from behind, walking into one of our buildings.)

Since then, I’ve written and edited HR and training copy including websites, course descriptions and employment contracts.

It’s the type of copywriting that needs to be ultra-accurate, simple and clear – which is exactly what I do.

These days, I spend two-thirds of my time copywriting and one-third training people how to do it themselves. My HR & training clients benefit because I’m a trainer too. I know exactly where they’re coming from, what they do, and what they need from their marketing communications.
