In 1979, Chrissie Maher OBE shredded hundreds of official documents in Parliament Square, London, and the Plain English Campaign was born. Like me, they battle gobbledegook, jargon and misleading information. In 1990, they launched the Crystal Mark to identify clear communication. My ex-boss once asked me to send them some copy I’d written for a general insurance product. They wrote back to say I didn’t need their help.

Just about every corporate problem comes down to communication.

With today’s busy lives, no-one can be bothered with complexity, obfuscation and confusion. If your communications and processes are confusing, you risk ruining staff relationships and even losing customers. Making things simple saves everyone time.

I can help increase engagement and loyalty by:

  • clarifying your brand story
  • defining a consistent tone of voice
  • crafting elegant design concepts
  • simplifying the customer experience
  • making your internal processes more straightforward
