This is the grand environment where I dined on Sunday night, in Birmingham, with some fellow Fellows of the PSA UK & Ireland.

It’s the Macdonald Burlington hotel just outside New St station. I haven’t been there since before lockdown.

The event itself was at the Studio nearby. One of my favourite venues. Again, I haven’t been there since before lockdown.

Getting there and back was a bit of a mission, due to the landslip at Rugby leading to train cancellations. But the event itself was a great success, judging by the comments.

Here’s what Mindy Gibbins-Klein wrote about it on LinkedIn:

Another attendee wrote:

“The care, attention, and effort you invested in tailoring the content to our needs was evident and the buzz in the room suggests it paid off.
I think the different forms of interaction worked very well and enabled everyone to give and receive in a very balanced and beneficial manner. We even got a bit of healthy storming 🙂
The commitment to listening, energy, and love you are both investing was very clear and much appreciated. It really felt like you were giving us the same level of service as you give to your clients. It felt so professional. The programme of events also looks enticing, and I will make every effort to participate in them all.”

It’s gratifying, because it’s the first event hosted by Antoinette Dale Henderson and I as this year’s co-presidents of the Fellows’ community.
