I was invited to run a couple of sessions at the Viva Event in Albir, Spain, last weekend, introducing the participants to improvised comedy.
One attendee had been at my sessions the year before, and kindly gave me this T-shirt, all the way from Miami!
When people are laughing, they are not in pain, angry, frightened or worried. The effect lasts as long as the session, and perhaps for hours or days afterwards. It spreads beyond the person who has moved from one feeling at the start to a lighter one by the end.
Improv has been my big hobby for the past decade, and it’s a joy to unleash the laughter that’s in the air waiting to happen, and ride on the audience response.
Rather than talking about communication, or creativity, or how to have a nice feeling, I facilitate a fun interactive experience so people realise the lessons for themselves.
